Crime and Punishment is a Leav Gleason series published by the same company as Crime Does Not Pay, but it is less violent and places more focus on the police force. At the outset of each tale is a miniature tombstone with information about the criminal's execution. Constable Common Sense, a spectral police officer, provides the narration.
