After the death of their grandma who they lived with since childhood, Sisters Aera and Min-Ji are asked to move in with their widowed stepmom Mara in Korea. Both sisters reluctantly agree after they find out that their estranged father died from lung cancer and that they can’t afford to live on their own. Now Aera and Min-Ji must start their first year of college in a brand new mysterious city where it always rains and nobody knows why. Will they be able to make friends or even possibly find love ? Will they solve the mystery of what causes it to rain all the time in this particular city? Is there more to their father’s death than they think?
