We are launching an inaugural milestone program for those of you who have onboarded with us.

The idea is very simple and here is how it follows

‐ Every time someone reads one page of your comic, you get 1 Read Point.

‐ As your read points grow you reach different milestones in the quest and unlock a bonus

‐ 5 USD for 1k Read points, Plus

‐ 25 USD for 5K Read points, Plus

‐ 50 USD for 10K Read points, Plus

‐ 125 USD for 25K Read points, Plus

‐ 250 USD for 50K Read points, Plus

‐ 500 USD for 100K Read points, Plus

‐ All the milestones are measured in read points and can be tracked on the Creator Leaderboard for this competition.

‐ The quest lasts till first 10 creators hit the 100 K reads milestone

‐ The read points you have earned so far are included in this quest, anyone who has already crossed some of these milestones shall receive berries in their account in the next 2 days

‐ The points will be credited as berries and can be cashed out as stable coins

‐ The total points earned by creators should be more than 50,000 for the competition to be valid.

Payout

‐ Prize amounts will be transferred within 30 days of the end of the competition.

‐ Statutory taxes and deductions as necessary may be applicable while transferring the prize money.

Example of Points Calculation for a Creator:

Assuming a creator submits two comics (Comic X and Comic Y) with the following reader interactions:

Comic X: 20 readers reading 100 pages each : 2000 Read points

Comic Y: 30 readers 50 pages each : 1500 read points

The total points for the creator will be 3500 points

Remember, the more reader engagement your comics receive, the higher your chances of winning the competition

Example of Points Calculation for a Creator:

1. Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

2. Participants must ensure that they completely own the contents they submit to Blocktoons, as detailed in the Ownership of Content section of the Community Guidelines.

3. Participants are free to submit comics even after the competition opens, up to the date the competition ends.

4. Participants can freely access the open competition leaderboard sharing all scores live during the period of the competition. More details will be provided prior to the start of the competition.

5. There is no restriction on the number of comics creators can submit; points from all content submitted by a creator will count in their final score.

6. For any support during the competition period, please reach out at info@blocktoons.co.

7. The competition will be deemed live once there are a minimum of 100 approved creators participating. In the event that this condition is not met, Blocktoons will make relevant communication to the participants for future course of action.

8. In case of any technical or fair play-based situations, the decisions made by team Blocktoons will be final.

Blocktoons Community and Uploading Guidelines

Blocktoons’ Community Guidelines define the terms and common code of conduct for Blocktoons Users. By accessing and using the Blocktoons platform, you agree to abide by the following guidelines. Any account activity that violates these guidelines will be subject to review and may result in the removal of your content or the suspension or termination of your account.

Improper use of the platform

‐ You may not use Blocktoons in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent. You agree not to interfere, exploit, nor abuse the operation of Blocktoons, its servers and/or system. You also agree not to use Blocktoons to send, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised electronic communication, advertising or promotional material or any other form. You also agree not knowingly transmit any data or send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of Blocktoons or any computer software or hardware.

Violence

‐ You may not threaten, solicit, advocate, or incite violence against any individual or group of individuals. We define violent threats as any statement of intent to kill or inflict serious physical injury or harm on a specific person or group of people. Any glorification of violence that may inspire others to take part in similar acts or replicate any violent acts and cause real offline harm is not allowed.

Ownership of content

‐ When you publish or post your comics on Blocktoons, you will keep the ownership of your work. You will own all rights to your work. You may continue to promote your work on other platforms. To help you promote your content, you authorize Blocktoons to use your content for promotional marketing purposes.
‐ You are not allowed to upload, post or publish content that you do not own or that you do not have the required authorization. When you publish content, your content must not infringe on the copyright, trademark, and other rights of third parties
‐ Blocktoons respects the intellectual property rights of others, and expects its users to do the same. You may not use the platform in a manner that violates or infringes on someone else’s copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. The posting, sharing, or use of any content that violates or infringes someone else’s copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights is prohibited, and any such content may be removed. The account may also be suspended or terminated for multiple violations of copyright laws in connection with the use of the Blocktoons platform.
‐ If you have a complaint against any Blocktoons user for possible violation of intellectual property rights, you may send an email to team@Blocktoons.co. The email must:

‐ provide your contact information, including your full name, the name of the copyright owner, your address, telephone number, and email address;

‐ identify the copyrighted work claiming to have been infringed;

‐ show proof of copyright ownership, with evidence of rights and authorization in case the person filing the notice is acting on behalf of the copyright owner;

‐ identify the material that is allegedly infringing on the rights of the copyright owner;

‐ provide a personal statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material, in the manner complained of, is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

‐ provide a statement that the information submitted in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and

‐ contain the physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Fair play and Botting policy

‐ We're all about fairness and ensuring an equal playing field for all participants. Any form of botting or suspicious activities will lead to immediate disqualification. We take this seriously to maintain the integrity of the competition. In case of any disputes or concerns related to the competition, the decisions made by the Blocktoons team will be final. We're here to ensure a transparent and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Content guidelines

‐ Creators must not submit malicious or abusive content. This includes any content that may incite hate or anger based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation, political orientation, or other similar categories. Revealing another person's personal information without proper permission is also not allowed.
‐ Creators must not submit mature or sexual content that contains nudity (full or partial), depictions of any sexual act, or content intended to be sexually gratifying.
‐ Creators must not submit content that promotes dangerous or illegal activities. This includes content that praises non-fictional, violent, or criminal organizations, recruitment for such organizations, spreading misinformation, themes of incest and grooming, or glorification or promotion of illegal substance or drug abuse.
‐ Creators must not submit unsolicited or unwanted content or links (spam).
Creators must not submit sponsored content without prior approval from Blocktoons.
‐ Blocktoons reserves the right to remove content at its sole discretion if deemed potentially offensive or unlawful. This may include defamatory content, deceptive content, content that violates third-party rights, or harassment of other Blocktoons users or third parties.
‐ Creators must not include links in their submissions that direct other Blocktoons users to content that violates our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and other policies. This includes links fitting any of the descriptions noted below:

‐ links to pornography;

‐ links to websites or apps that install malware;

‐ links to websites or apps phishing for a user's login credentials, financial information, Etc.;

‐ links to websites, apps, or other information technology that give unauthorised free access to audio content, audiovisual content, full video games, software, or streaming services that normally require payment;

‐ links to websites seeking to raise funds or recruit for terrorist organisations;

‐ links to sites selling regulated or prohibited items

‐ links to content encouraging others to commit violent acts; and

‐ links to websites or apps that spread misleading or deceptive content
